Independence
Members are required to report on information objectively. Thus a member of Goldgate performing professional work recognises the problems created by personal relationships or financial involvements which by reason of their nature or degree may threaten his or her objectivity
Integrity
A member of Goldgate is required to behave with integrity in all professional relationships. Integrity implies not merely honesty but fair dealing and truthfulness.
Transparency
This requires members of Goldgate to be honest and open while carrying out their professional work.
Accountability
It also includes the obligation of an individual or the firm to account for its activities, accept responsibility for them, and to disclose the results in a transparent manner. It also includes the responsibility for money or other entrusted property
This involves the application of moral principles in a given situation. It means to behave according to the moral standards set by Goldgate.
Members of Goldgate are required to be obedient to rules or a code of behavior. This also involves the collaborative effort of a team to achieve a common goal or to complete a task in the most effective and efficient way.
The actions of an individual member of Goldgate must benefit the whole of society. In this way, there must be a balance between economic growth and the welfare of society and the environment.
This involves the maintenance of a desired level of quality in the services provided by Goldgate especially by means of attention to every stage of the process of delivery or production.

CPA. David Naika (CPA (U))
Associate Consultant
Naika is a certified public Accountant. He is a professional accountant and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda. His experience ranges from auditing and other Assurance services to Business process re-engineering. He has put his expertise in Auditing and Accounting where his passion lies.
CPA. Simon Bwire – CPA (U), B.COM-Acc, HDM
Audit Officer
Bwire is a professional accountant and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda. He holds a B.Com majoring in Accounting. His experience in accounts has made Goldgate to be the epitome of service.
As a senior consultant, he has made the Accounting team reliable and meet its targets with ease.
CPA. Erasmus Byaruhanga – ACCA
Associate Consultant
Byaruhanga is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a professional accountant and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda.
Based in South Sudan to expand and utilize his experience in Auditing, Byaruhanga represents Goldgate on the assignments in the area and as a team leader, we credit him for having successfully executed Goldgate’s various assignments.
CPA. Timothy Basiimampora (CPA, MMS, DPPM)
Founder member and Partner
He is currently the firm’s CEO. He has over 15 years in private business management He is a professional Accountant, a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda and holds a Master’s degree project Planning and management from UMI. He is a Partner at Kampala Associated Accountants and a Director in Goldgate Consultancy Limited. He is a seasoned financial analyst with top financial institutions. – Financial analysis business Incubation, Credit management and Business restructuring. A tax expert/mentor and couch in Tax investigations, Domestic and customs taxes in Uganda. He has expertise himself in project planning and management, monitoring and evaluation, strategic plan formulation. He is currently (2017/2018) the President of Rotary Club of Kampala – Day Break and a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow.
CPA. David R Mugisha (CPA (U), MSc (F&A)) Founder member and Partner
Mugisha is a professional accountant and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda and holds a Master’s degree in Accounting &Finance. He is also a Partner in Kampala Associated Accountants and a Director in Goldgate Consultancy Limited. He has over 13 years’ experience in auditing and assurance. He has specialized in investigative audits, Government and Donor funded Government projects’ audits, International and local entities (large, medium and small). He has extended his vast experience to financial reporting and Auditing, having previously worked in various capacities at PKF, PA Tharkker & Sons, and currently at Inspectorate of Government as a Senior Investigations officer..
CPA. Franco Twinomugisha; (CPA (U), ATC (K), FCIP) Founder member and Partner
He is a professional Accountant and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda, ATC (K), FCIP. He is responsible for quality assurance at Goldgate and ensures that the audit is done in line with the International Standards on Auditing and the International Financial Reporting Standards. He has vast experience as a forensic auditor, financial analyst, and a business consultant. He has over 12 years in accounting and audit environment and has led audit teams in the audit of International and Local entities, Local Government entities, Donor funded Government projects, NGOs and other consultancies. He has also gained extensive experience in internal control assessments, procurement and expenditure reviews, and compliance appraisals. Due to his extensive experience, Twinomugisha is the point person for independent determination findings and makes audit recommendations for unprecedented, complex issues and challenges. He serves as a key resource for the rest of the team in resolving unprecedented, non-standard issues and problems including identifying implications for management decision-making. He is also a Partner at KAA and Director at Goldgate Consultancy Limited. He previously worked with various sectors including construction (Dott Services Ltd), transport (Novamarine Ltd), Audit Services (Goldrock partners and BMR Associates and In addition to spending time with his wife and children, Franco enjoys badminton, soccer and travel currently works with Bank of Uganda as a banking officer (Treasury management).

BUDEYO HENRY RAYMOND
Audit Supervisor
Henry has over 10 years’ experience in Audit obtained through working with another audit firm on a wide range of clients that include projects, Local Governments, profit and non for profit making organizations. Henry is currently pursuing Certified Public Accountant course. He previously worked as a senior audit staff at Mukasa Yiga & Co. Certified Public Accountants and has hands on audit experience with strong understanding of compliance.
AGABA HANNINGTON
Audit Officer
Agaba is an associate member of both the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU), and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration majoring in accounting and Advanced diploma in Accounting and Business
He has gained more than 3 years’ experience practicing in accounting, audit and tax advisory at Goldgate Certified Public Accountants.
Agaba possess a rich experience in financial services sectors of over nine (9) year in different roles at Barclays Bank as well as Diamond Trust Bank.
NAMWANJE MARIAM
Audit officer
She is an associate member of the institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda.
She has vast experience in external and internal audit, income and expenditure verification, training and capacity building.
AKAMPURIRA BRIAN
Head of Tax Department
Brain is the head of the Tax department at Goldgate Certified Public Accountants with vast knowledge in Domestic tax, audit and international tax laws as well as tax planning and management.
He is a candidate of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda with a Bachelor’s degree in Managemement science. Brain is experienced tax consultant with over 5 years of practice preparing atypical tax returns for clients with the highest level of integrity. Dedicated professional with extensive knowledge of the tax codes and ways to legally lower tax liability for clients. Skilled in negotiation with a strong ability to problem solve to assist clients with tax problems. Have successfully resolved a number of tax cases.
KATEGANO CAROLYNE
Finance and Administration
Carolyne is in the finance and administration department with a 10 years experience in administration and office management. She holds a Diploma in stenography and Accounting Technicians Diploma from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda. She previously worked with dynamic companies where she expertise herself with office management till to date
ARINAITWE ANNET
Audit Assistant Officer
Arinaitwe Annet is currently working as an audit assistant officer with Goldgate and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce. She is also a candidate of the institute of Certified Public Accountants Course Uganda. She has vast experience in accounting & finance, external and internal audit, income and expenditure verification. She has experience over 2 years in the accounting field which has given her an edge to judge and give solutions to Accounting challenges.
KIRIDDE CATHERINE
Accounts Officer
Kiridde Catherine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance. She is also a candidate of the institute of Certified Public Accountants Course Uganda. She has vast experience in accounting and finance and has previously worked with TAKN and Associates Certified Public Accountants as an Accounts Officer. She has experience of over eight years in the Accounting field which has given her an edge to judge and give solutions to Accounting challenges

Mbali Joanina is currently working as an audit assistant officer with Goldgate and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business statistics. She is also a candidate of the institute of Certified Public Accountants Course Uganda.

Ashaba Damalie is currently working as an audit assistant officer with Goldgate and holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration majoring in procument enabling her to bring a wide diversity of skills and knowledge to Goldgate. She also has 1 year experience in accounting & finance, external and internal audit, income and expenditure verification.

Sikahwa Wilber is currently working as an audit assistant officer with Goldgate and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science in accounting and finance. He is also a candidate of the institute of Certified Public Accountants Course Uganda.
